
Student Summer 2019 Internship- Marine Ornamental Aquaculture

Description
The UF/IFAS Tropical Aquaculture Lab (TAL) in Ruskin, Florida is accepting applications for a 8-10 week Summer 2019 internship. The student will assist UF/IFAS TAL researchers and graduate students working on developing and refining production methods for marine ornamental fish species. This research is being executed through the collaborative efforts of UF/IFAS TAL and Rising Tide Conservation.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate from a 2 or 4 undergraduate program.
- Pursuing or completed undergraduate degree in biology, zoology, marine sciences, aquaculture, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated research or familiarity with marine aquaculture is highly desirable.
Salary/Benefits: This is an unpaid internship, but the selected applicant will receive a $1500 stipend to underwrite costs of housing and meals during the program.
